Claressa Shields is willing to entertain the idea of a bout with Lauren Price, but insists any clash must be on her terms.
‘The GWOAT’ swung by Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on Saturday night to watch the star defend her unified welterweight title.
Price, like Shields, is a former Olympic gold medalist, having sealed middleweight success five years ago at Tokyo 2020.

The pair spoke after the Welsh star outpointed Stephanie Pineiro Aquino and verbally agreed to meet before 2026 is out.
But while Shields is open to a bout however, she will only take a clash on home soil or for travel overseas for a hefty fee.
“She’s hungry, and she feels she’s the next best and skilled enough that she can beat me in a fight,” she told The Ring.
“She’s Olympic champion, and she’s undefeated. I would try and eat a few less burgers to get down to 160 pounds.

“You want me to come, you pay me that money. I’ve had sold-out events in my last three fights. We know I’m a big draw.
“I don’t think Lauren is big enough for me to come over here in the UK. She has to come to America if she wants the smoke.
“I’m very hard to beat, you can be stronger, faster, you can have more fights, you can be bigger, smaller, and I still dominate.”
